    Description

    For your consideration this fantastic vintage Chinese wooden hibachi on ming pedestal base.  The piece is marked with a plaque underneath the ming base which reads "Johnson Yu Furnishings Taipei Taiwan China".  Has the original galvanized steel lining and two flush mounted cover panels.  Designed to be used as a hibachi but could easily be used a side table, or it would make the most epic planter ever!
    Measures 26 1/2" tall by 19 1/2" deep and 16 3/4" wide while on top of the pedestal.  Was told this piece was originally acquired sometime in the late 1950's or early 60's.  Overall very nice cosmetic condition with age associated dings and scratches but still presents extremely well.
