    .” Published in 1971, this is a scarce and important work, seldom seen or offered on Ebay. This publication consists of 46 pages of text, plus 20 plates of nice photos bound into the book.
    This work is an important reference as it took what was known of Ordovician pelecypods and worked out the difficulties of identification, leading to a coherent understanding of these creatures, showing them to be more diverse than previously known.

    he plates within the book contain photos of scores of specimens and their important identifying features. This would serve as an excellent reference for the serious collector and a significant addition to any library on Paleozoic fossils. Reference is made to the Cincinatti Arch. It is a scarce item.
