One of the largest clan bills
The average height of an adult male in the Edo period was about 150 cm.
The size of this clan bill is 18 * 8 cm.
This clan bill must have seemed large to the people of that time.
Therefore, the clan bill was issued and used in the form of a bill folded in half.
It is often called "Byobu-Fuda" because the half-folded shape resembles Byobu.
Unissued
This bill appears to be “unissued”, as it is not stamped on the left side under the front of the bill.
(For the unstamped bill, it was suspected to be counterfeit, but it has recently been revealed that it is unissued)
