    Description

    The Japan 100 Yen Banknote was issued by the bank of japan in 1953. It has a combination of purple, black green, light blue, and brown. Its obverse features Itakagi Taisuke who was the leader of japan's first political party. The reverse depict the Parliament Building in Tokyo. The banknote does not contain a security thread but has a watermark that reveals Paulownia leaves and flowers and 100. The banknote measures 148 x 76 mm. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
