    Description

    This Japan 1 Yen banknote was released in 1946 with a dimension of 124 x 68 mm. The obverse side of the note features a portrait of 19th-century philosopher and economist, Ninomiya Sontoku, and a cockerel. The reverse side features Japanese text with arabesque patterns in the background. The note does not contain any security threads nor watermarks.
