The Hoover Automatic Muller was developed to eliminate the tedious labor and uncertain results of the manual mulling of pigments.
The Hoover Automatic Muller is being used universally throughout the color, cosmetic, plastic, and electronic chemicals industries, and because of its accuracy and ease of operation, it has become an integral part of laboratory testing procedures.
The Hoover Automatic Muller has proved to be a means of standardizing the practice of pigment mulling.  With the “Muller” using constant speed, uniform pressure and precise number of rubs, duplicate results can be obtained with any given pigment.  The Hoover Automatic Muller maintains constant speed by the use of a ½ HP single phase explosion-proof motor.  Hazardous lab atmospheres require the safety of an explosion-proof motor.
