It is quite easy to see why so many people are mad about this incredible pattern called "English Garden" by Homer Laughlin in the Century shape featuring a stunning deco English garden & cottage scene, the pattern is also known as C-4, discontinued in 1941 , it is a very hard to find pattern and highly sought after by both Laughlin, Cottage Chic, & Mid-century collectors. The stunning decal images are over a deep ivory holloware, with emerald green edge lines & silver bars. The Century shape was introduced in 1931 and designed by Fredrick Rhead, after it's arrival Homer Laughlin began creating decal designs for the popular squared art deco shapes, of these English Garden was by far the most popular.This listing is for 1 Century shape Rimmed Fruit / Dessert / Sauce bowl 5 1/4" squared. In excellent condition, at the time of listing I have 8 available, each photo features another bowl so you can see the similar overall pristine quality. They have been in a home showcase for over 50 years, and appear to have little to no wear. The bottom of the bowls there is the blue backstamp of Homer Laughlin.
