    Description

    Calypso by Homer Laughlin
    Up for sale is a partial set of Homer Laughlin mid-century china in the terrific Calypso pattern.  This pattern was offered by Montgomery Wards starting in 1956.  The dishes look to be only lightly used, but there are three chips, one on a dinner plate and the other two on the small bowls.  I did not see any cracks or crazing.  There are 5 dinner plates (9.25 inches in diameter), 6 small plates (6 inches in diameter), 5 small bowls (5.5 inches in diameter), 4 saucers, 6 cups, a platter (11.5 inches long), and a vegetable bowl (8.75 inches in diameter).
