Description
Condition:There is slight crazing in the glaze on the bottom of the cup that you can barely see.
This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s.
The diameter of the saucer is 3 1/2 inches.
The cup is 1 1/2 inches tall with a diameter of
1 1/8 inches.
The cup features a quatrafoil shape, four little feet and a coral shaped handle.
The ground
color of the set is celeste blue or turquoise, often used by Sevres and Minton.
The set is hand decorated with raised and beaded gold designs. There are urns and arabesques.
The interior of the cup, well of the saucer, handle and feet are all gilded.
A tiny little cup and saucer like this can pack a lot of personality. #T34
