Description
CONDITION: Excellent There are no signs of crazing in the glaze, however, the cup and saucer do not ring when tapped.This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. The saucer is 3 3/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 1 5/8 inches tall with a diameter of 2 inches.
The porcelain is molded with a bit of a swirl causing the edges to be scalloped. The ground color is cobalt blue. There are tiny white enamel flowers with gold leaves all over the surface of both pieces. This raised enamel is often referred to as “jewels”. There
is gold trim on the rims and handle. #C515
