    Description

Exquisite Qing Dynasty gold mother of pearl decorated rosewood scholars table
or Center Hall table with large
center marble piece that looks like dreaming stone.
Came out of a lovely high end estate in Conn.
It is signed underneath.  There is missing pieces of mother of pearl but it doesn't detract.
    They are
gold in color and not the usual silver white.
The stone is simply stunning.  The design is like the mountains
    in China.
Lovely and unusual 3 toed feet on
shaped legs.  It is missing two on either side of one side
of the last corner pieces of apron.  The other side is complete.  Please refer to pictures.
This is an exceptional piece. There are surface
scratches you can see in pictures but
they aren't very visible. There is repair to one of the legs, I think. Tenon and mortise joints can get loose.  Just press it back together.
    Wear and tear
    commensurate with antique furniture.
